Research Clinical Institute of Pediatrics named Academician Yu. E. Veltishchev is a leading Federal Pediatric Center of Russia. It was established in 1927. There are 12 clinical departments on a 400-bed clinical base, a powerful laboratory and diagnostic base has been organized. More than 9,000 children are treated at the Institute every year, a significant consultative reception is carried out (more than 25,000 children per year), employees are actively working at the clinical bases of Children's Clinical Hospital No. G. N. Speransky and City Clinical Hospital No. 13, telemedicine consultations are carried out by specialists throughout the country.
