Since 2010 in Tomsk National Research Medical Center has been operating an information system of the radiology department, which includes all the digital imaging clinic equipment: CT, MRI, X-ray machines, mammographs, ultrasound scanners. During this period of system operation, a large diagnostic base has been accumulated in the clinic.
The unified information space of the diagnostic service was organized through the modern solutions introduction based on LINS products:
- "LINS Machaon PACS" consisting of: LINS Machaon DICOM Archive with the "web-interface" option, 10 diagnostic workstations of LINS Machaon;
- "LINS LookInside Radiological information system", with which 25 users work - doctors and laboratory assistants of diagnostic departments.
Since 2017, another endoscopic department has been connected to the unified system. The department performs all types of endoscopic examinations: video gastroscopy, video colonoscopy, video bronchoscopy, video laryngoscopy, video epipharyngoscopy and others. The department diagnostic system was integrated with Olympus diagnostic equipment (video endoscopic stands of the CV150, CV180, CV190, CV260SL series - 6 stands in total), and allows you to capture high-resolution video recordings of examinations and save them in a single database of the endoscopy department. Also implemented is the ability to dynamically switch between endoscopic racks at the workplace of an endoscopist, video compression and processing functions (including trimming) for long-term storage are supported.
Thus, in Tomsk National Research Medical Center, all research imaging methods are registered and stored in a single database. This allows you to get a complete dynamic picture of the patient's condition, since the system forms a single patient diagnostic card, which includes both digital images and protocols (descriptions) of the performed studies.
The system fully meets the oncological clinics specifics, which consists in continuous dynamic monitoring, analysis of their condition and new studies comparison performed with the results of previous examinations. Attending oncologists, incl. surgeons have the opportunity to obtain complete information about the patient as part of a multidisciplinary approach when planning complex surgical interventions.
All this helps to improve the high-tech medical care provided in the oncology clinic of the Tomsk National Research Medical Center.
The Research Institute of Oncology "TOMSK NATIONAL RESEARCH MEDICAL CENTER OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES" was opened on June 29, 1979. On July 1, 2016, it was reorganized into the Tomsk National Research Medical Center the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is the only oncological research institute in Siberia and the Far East, heads the work of the problem commission on oncology of the interdepartmental scientific Council on medical problems of Siberia and the Far East, provides scientific and methodological guidance to oncological institutions in the region on clinical oncology and the introduction of scientific achievements into practice healthcare.
Main areas of activity: fundamental implementation, exploratory and applied (including clinical) scientific research aimed at obtaining knowledge in the field of oncology, contributing to the preservation and strengthening of human health, the development of healthcare and medical science, and the training of highly qualified scientific and medical personnel.
