Currently, the medical and diagnostic capacity allows to provide assistance to 5,000 patients per year. The next step in the development of a modern 200-bed hospital was the CT scanner acquisition. For doctors to work effectively with new equipment, it was necessary to automate the transfer and storage of medical images large volumes . This task is successfully handled by the PACS software package installed by LINS specialists. It involves the joint operation of the following products:
- Makhaon DICOM Archive in Maximum configuration;
- Makhaon doctors Workstationin the configuration "Tomography 3D";
- Viewing stations for clinicians Machaon "NetLite".
The installed automation package provides medical data reliable storage with the possibility of long-term archiving, improved viewing and medical images presentation, including three-dimensional reconstructions. These characteristics will speed up the diagnostic process, provide the study results documentation in accordance with the international DICOM standard, and facilitate routine actions for managing large diagnostic information arrays.
